Okay, so here’s the deal. There’s this game, right? You’ve probably heard of it—everyone’s obsessed with it. It’s all about this band of outlaws who, quite frankly, seem to get gloomier the more they explore this gigantic landscape. And, guess what? Rumor has it, they’re gonna saddle up and mosey on over to the Nintendo Switch 2. Seriously, why do I always picture these pixelated cowboys in tiny hats sitting in front of tiny screens? Ridiculous.
Gamereactor spilled the beans on this one. Apparently, someone over there chatted with Rockstar insiders. Like, right outta the Wild West journalistic twilight zone. They’re saying we might get this on Nintendo’s shiny new toy “as soon as later this year”—and no, I don’t quite know what that means either. There’s also some Spanish site, Nintendúo or something, backing this up. Because of course Spain’s in on it. Why not, right?
Oh, and there’s whispers of a snazzy update for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S to make the game sparkle like freshly polished boots. Might drop around the same time the cowboys hit Switch 2. Yay for technology!
Then there’s the whole Take-Two thing—got big plans for Switch 2, like dumping Borderlands 4, Civilization 7, NBA 2K, and WWE 2K onto the poor console. And adding a Rockstar game? Well, that’d make it five. Strauss Zelnick, the CEO dude, talked about it with The Game Business. Somehow, his words made me feel like Nintendo’s planning some sort of gaming coup. Who’s with me on this?
Nintendo’s always been more about its own games, like Mario and Zelda doing their usual thing. But Zelnick thinks they’re switching gears. See what I did there? Sorry, couldn’t resist.
So if this game actually rides onto Switch 2, folks will likely use Ninty’s GameChat feature to holler meme-worthy lines and debate over horse anatomy. Seriously, the things we focus on… kinda like when you’re distracted by the smallest detail in a big painting, right?
Would you play it on Switch 2? Or am I just talking to myself here? Anyway, forgive the random rhymes. Got carried away.
