Summary… I guess?
So, Fortnite players — they’re not thrilled with Darth Jar Jar in the shop. The cost? Sky-high. And the XP grind? Ugh, it’s like climbing Everest barefoot. The funny part? Jar Jar Binks and this Darth version are two separate skins. Like, why split them? Feels like a cash grab, but hey, Epic’s gonna Epic.
Happened again: Fortnite fans are scratching their heads over this Darth Jar Jar deal. Popped up in the shop and everyone’s like, “What?! Why so much?” Epic Games just rolled out this Galactic Battle shindig — it’s their Star Wars mini-season thing. Honestly, it’s kind of cool. Mace Windu, Emperor Palpatine, and oh yeah, Darth Vader. Vader’s an AI now or something, and if you beat him, he’s on your team. You can totally chat with him like he’s your bestie. Wild.
Saw this post on Reddit—yes, I still troll through Reddit, don’t judge. This user, nottdscoo, dropped a pic of our beloved Darth Jar Jar skin and was losing it over how much XP you need to buy it. Like, one million XP? Please. It’s not even part of a bundle with fun accessories. Come on. Most folks were excited at first but… disappointment hit hard.
Fortnite Players Are Over It With Prices
There’s also the classic Jar Jar Binks skin. No ridiculous XP needed there, thankfully. People are wondering why not make Darth Jar Jar just an alt style instead of a new skin. Lots of chatter on whether it should’ve been in the battle pass. Makes sense, right? Less drama.
Epic tried this XP requirement trick before with the Renegade Raider. It was a little less painful then, maybe? Renegade’s an OG skin, so folks were okay with it being exclusive. They want to keep that “hard-to-get” feel. This isn’t the first hiccup — there have been a few speed bumps lately. Still, fingers crossed for Fortnite’s future. We’ll see, right?
