Alright, so I came across something kinda interesting lately. There I was, just minding my own business, when this presentation from Shift Up smacks me right in the face. They’re talking about this game, Stellar Blade, getting a sequel before, like, 2027. Probably 2026, but let’s not get too technical. Cool, right? I mean, Stellar Blade being the best action game of 2024 and all. Totally not biased here, okay?
So, I’m digging into this slide deck — because who doesn’t love a good slide? — and there’s this bit on slide 19. It’s all about “IP expansion” and stuff. Honestly, it sounds kinda fancy. Anyway, there’s a graph showing off Stellar Blade with this “platform expansion” label, and another one that just says “sequel.” And then there’s a new thing called “Project Witches.” What’s that about? I have absolutely no idea… yet.
This all sounds like Shift Up’s been busy, what with Stellar Blade and Nikke doing great. And you know, I can’t help but feel a rush of nostalgia. Remember when Project Eve showed up at a Sony State of Play in 2022? Everyone was gushing over God of War Ragnarok, and I’m sitting here thinking, “This Project Eve looks kinda neat.” Fast forward a bit, and it turns out it’s not just a hit but also has a killer soundtrack.
So yeah, I’m pumped for the sequel. But what about you? Curious about Eve and where she’s headed next? Which ending’s gonna be the real deal? Seriously, I’m all ears! Spill your thoughts in the comments or whatever.
