Oh wow, so this game called Dysmantle — ever heard of it? Apparently, it’s a huge deal now. Like, two million copies sold huge! Can you imagine that? The folks over at 10tons — yeah, the developers — they spilled the beans about this epic milestone. They’ve been in the game (pun intended, I think) for, what, over 40 months since November 2021 when they officially launched 1.0. And hey, before that, the game was chilling in Early Access for about a year.
Now — oh, wait, let me backtrack — they’ve been busy rolling it out everywhere. On PCs and consoles, like PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch. Even your mobile gadgets, iOS and Android. Wild, right? Although, honestly, there’s zero intel on how many people are playing on each platform. Guess they want to keep us in suspense.
Anyway — oh, wait — the big news is they’re throwing a little celebration for hitting that two million mark. Get this, they’re releasing a physical version. Yep, no more digital downloads, at least for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Mark your calendars for June 27th!
So I stumbled across this quote from Sampo Töyssy — he’s one of the big shots at 10tons. He’s super stoked (obviously) and says they’re beyond grateful to the fans. But there’s a twist. Apparently, there was a plan to release this physical version in the US. Something went haywire, though, so right now, no US release is set. Such a bummer, right? But Sampo’s holding out hope that anyone who wants one can snag a copy. He sends out a big thank you. Kind of sweet, don’t you think?
