Whoa, so Days of Play 2025 is wrapping up, and here we are, right in the thick of it. I just realized the final PS Plus game for June — and yeah, I can’t even believe it — is starting to show up in some spots. If you’re hanging out in Asia and it’s June 10th there, you can snag Grand Theft Auto III – The Definitive Edition. Not gonna lie, it’s wild! Others? Hang tight till around noon your time on Tuesday — if I’m reading this right.
So, about that… GTA 3 Definitive Edition, both on PS5 and PS4, just dropped as a piece of the larger GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition package. I mean, it’s alongside Vice City and San Andreas, but GTA 3’s doing that solo release thing, thanks to PS Plus. Pretty cool, right?
Now, for the game geeks out there — are we still saying “geeks”? Whatever. The version’s got all these tweaks: fancy new lighting, environmental glow-ups, high-res textures, and controls that don’t make me want to throw the controller across the room. Oh, and there’s more. Always more.
Days of Play bows out officially on Wednesday, June 11. Which reminds me, PS Plus folks got showered with games like Destiny 2: The Final Shape — and, wait for it — Another Crab’s Treasure, Skull and Bones, Destiny 2: Legacy Collection, Myst, and good ol’ Riven.
The next lineup for PS Plus Extra, Premium’s coming soon, and once they roll that out, Sony’s gonna drop the bomb (or maybe not so much of a bomb?) on which games are waving goodbye in July. That’s the scoop, I guess. And my coffee’s cold now. Where’s that microwave…
