Wow, so Nintendo just tossed out another update for “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” — this time we’re talking version 1.4.2. And I’m just here like, “Okay, another update,” but then, oh boy, there’s more to it.
So, the things they fixed? It’s mostly the kind of stuff you might not even notice unless you’re, I dunno, glued to your Switch. They say something about Zelda Notes and the Nintendo Switch Online app, specifically on that new Switch 2. And I’m thinking, “Did I miss the memo on the Switch 2 release?” Seriously, keep up with the times!
Right, diving into the nitty-gritty, there’s this Daily Bonus thing? “Health Recovery” and “Hearty Meal” got themselves some love. Apparently, if you were maxed out on hearts, those bonuses just shrugged and said, “No thanks,” which is kind of rude if you ask me. Anyway, now they’ve fixed it.
And Zelda Notes — what a name, by the way — got a bunch of tweaks. But no idea what exactly. Typical Nintendo, with their secretive patch notes, just saying, “Yeah, we fixed a bunch of stuff.” I mean, cool, but gimme the details!
Oh, and music! There was apparently this issue where the background tunes would just disappear during battles. Imagine fighting Ganondorf with no epic music. Yikes! Glad they sorted that out.
So, yeah, new update, more fixes, life goes on. Maybe it makes the game better, maybe not — I guess you’ll find out in some epic Hyrule showdown.
