Alright, so here’s the deal: 33 Immortals is back, and Xbox Insiders are getting another shot at it. Mark your calendar folks, ‘cause starting Tuesday, May 20th at 8am PT — or 11am ET if you’re on the East Coast (I get it, time zones are a pain) — the fourth playtest kicks off. It’s a short burst, just six days till Monday, May 26, so, you know, gotta be quick on your feet.
This time, and this feels like a big deal, they’re letting folks on Xbox One join the party. I mean, finally, right? Thunder Lotus, the brains behind this madness, has tossed in some fresh updates. They’re practically begging for feedback. Limited spots though, so if you wanna jump into this chaotic, co-op, roguelike adventure with 32 fellow strangers — May 20th is your day. Be ready or be sorry.
The game’s premise? Yeah, it’s wild. You’re basically a cursed soul fighting against God’s final verdict. Dive into these massive 33-player co-op brawls. Like, just grab your controller, matchmake instantly, and you’re in. Monsters, bosses, epic loot — all that jazz. Stack up relics, upgrade your soul, and face off against divine wrath. No pressure or anything.
Curious for more? They’re practically shouting it from the rooftops: sign up on the 33 Immortals Website. Seriously, they wanna keep you in the loop.
So, updates and fixes — let’s see, what’s new? Control rebinding. Yeah, I guess people were asking for it. The Sword of Justice got tweaked. Or was it balanced? Same goes for the Staff of Sloth, Bow of Hope, Daggers of Greed. They’ve been, uh, how do I put it, refined a bit? Some pesky Feats got squared away too. But they’ve got all the nerdy details in their patch notes if you’re into that.
Alright, playtest timing again, for those taking notes:
– Starts: Tuesday, May 20th, 8am PT (11am ET)
– Wraps Up: Monday, May 26th, 8am PT (11am ET)
Oh, and what’s the drill to join this merry band of testers? Easy enough. On the big day, May 20th:
1. Fire up your Xbox or PC, launch or download the Insider Hub app.
2. Navigate to Previews > 33 Immortals, because what else would you do?
3. Hit that Join button.
4. When the registration works its magic, hit the Store and install the 33 Immortals Beta.
A quick heads-up: space is tight, so it’s first come, first served. Oh, and now Xbox One players are in on the fun, alongside their Series X|S and PC pals.
Feedback time! If things go south while you’re playing — happens to the best of us — remember to “Report a problem.” Here’s the lowdown:
1. Hold the home button on your Xbox controller.
2. Pick Report a problem.
3. Head to Games > 33 Immortals Beta.
4. Spill the beans, fill out the form, share what went wrong.
