Jez Corden from Windows Central hinted at this possibility on Twitter. He suggested that it’s more a question of “when” rather than “if” Hellblade 2 will join the PS5 lineup. According to Corden, the announcement could potentially coincide with the State of Play event scheduled for February 12, 2025. He also mentioned that South of Midnight, an Xbox exclusive slated for April 2025, might also find a home on PlayStation in due course.

If Xbox continues this trend, it will further emphasize the strategy of diversifying platform availability, a strategy evident since the launch of various other titles like 2022’s Pentiment and the upcoming Doom: The Dark Ages, both confirmed for multiple consoles.
