Ah, the charm of Eevee Grove, huh? If you’ve been deep in Pokémon TCG Pocket lately, you’ll know the drill by now. It’s only been, like, two weeks since it hit the shelves. Thinking ahead, it might just be a good idea to tuck away a few Hourglasses for whatever’s brewing next. End of July, they say. Who knows what that’ll bring? I mean, maybe Gen 2 or 3 Pokémon could steal the show—been kinda MIA lately, right? And, oh man, don’t even get me started on those Fighting cards. They’ve been hanging back ever since Triumphant Light, and it’s about time they got some love.
Now, I’m not bagging on the current decks or anything. But, come on, only two fighting decks in play? They’re stuck in the past, relying on Space-Time Smackdown or Triumphant Light. Yup, that’s how it sounds. Lucario Ex from Shining Revelry did its best but kinda fizzled out after Passimian Ex and Lycanroc Ex showed up. So, if you wanna win, it’s Rampardos or Garchomp Ex – take your pick.
Ah, Rampardos. There it is, always up for a brawl since Space-Time Smackdown landed it front and center in 2025. See how it holds its ground? Just hit, hit, hit—130 damage with one Fighting Energy? Get outta town! Sure, you get that recoil damage if Knock Out happens, but 50 isn’t even that scary. A real champ, this card.
Thing is, getting it on board needs some fussing with Skull Fossil. But, you know, Celestial Guardians’ Rare Candy can make it work in no time. Put it next to Silvally, and man, you’ve got something fierce. It came in with Extradimensional Crisis but is still turning heads today.
Speaking of combos, who would’ve thought a half-Fighting deck—Rampardos and Silvally sharing the space—would work out so neatly? They’re like… yin and yang or something, but in card form.
Let’s circle back to boosters. Yup, Space-Time Smackdown boosters are like gold now. Everyone’s craving that Rampardos magic. But, like, this can’t be the be-all and end-all for the Fighting type, right? We need fresh blood, something to give Rampardos a run for its money.
And then, there’s Garchomp Ex, strutting its stuff. Got to love those names from Triumphant Light—Garchomp Ex with its robust 170 HP flex. Imagine combining Linear Attack and Dragon Claw—the damage dances like a smooth operator. Sure, pair Rampardos with it, and you’ve got quite the showstopper.
With Stage 2 cards, healing’s a breeze with the Lillie Supporter card, popping in a 60 HP pick-me-up. Meanwhile, Cyrus Supporter jumps in, letting you chase down Pokémon on the bench. That sneaky KO, right?
Alright, alright, getting off track. But hey, that’s the world of Pokémon TCG Pocket for you. There’s always something brewing under the surface, waiting to break free. Can’t wait to see what hits next.
