Marvel’s New Retro Game Features Top Thor and Classic Silver Surfer

Alright, so here’s the thing. Marvel’s got some big guns, both literally and figuratively, charging into their Cosmic Invasion gig. I’m not even kidding, you’ve got Cap himself, She-Hulk, Spidey, and yeah, Wolverine too. Total power fest, honestly.

Now, I gotta talk about this guy—Beta Ray Bill. Weird name, right? Picture Thor, but, like, swap his face with a horse and throw in some cyber enhancements. What a wild combo. So, Bill’s from planet… Korbinite, I think? And he’s got this hammer called Stormbreaker. Not his first hammer though. Nope, dude actually once swung Mjolnir. Seriously, you gotta look up The Mighty Thor No. 337 if you’re curious. Walt Simonson, you’re a genius or something.

Oh, can’t forget the Silver Surfer. Riding waves? Nah, this guy rides through space, wielding Power Cosmic—yep, it’s as epic as it sounds. Blasting Annihilus’ bug army from his surfboard. Sudden image of him with a beach towel popped into my head for no reason. Nope, moving on.

Anyway—or was I going somewhere else with this? San Diego Comic-Con dropped some juicy tidbits, especially about who’s voicing who in Cosmic Invasion. Love that they’ve got a star-studded lineup. Names? Didn’t catch them all. Oops.

Oh, right! This whole thing’s launching on every gaming console you can think of. So, whether you’re on a Switch, PC, or one of those Xbox or PlayStation bad boys, you’re covered. Coming out later this year—if someone could just hint which month, I’d be thrilled.
